In terms of age and gender, most articles are written without emphasizing specific categories. 73.43% of the articles used the quantitative method, 11.4% of the articles used the statistical method of factor analysis and structural equations and 67.2% of the articles used the questionnaire. Also, 52.7% of the sources of articles were Latin, and the Journal of Strategic Studies in Sports and Youth had the most publications in this field. The purpose of this research was to analyze the content of privatization studies in sports in Iran. The research method was quantitative and based on descriptive content analysis. The statistical population included all privatization studies in sports in Iran until the end of summer 2021. The sample size was equal to the statistical population. To conduct this research, the websites of scientific-sports journals were searched. However, in order to access research related to previous years not available on the websites of scientific-sports journals, as well as for other research, searches were conducted in various databases. Descriptive statistics (charts and tables) from Excel software were used for data analysis. The results showed that a total of 98 studies on the privatization of sports in Iran were conducted and reported. Of these, 17.5% of the studies were related to the privatization of football and football clubs, 22.5% were related to the privatization of sports facilities, and 60% were related to other areas of sports privatization. Another finding of this research was the very limited contribution of theses and dissertations from university students. In general, the number of 98 studies from 1995 to the end of summer 2021, which spans approximately 26 years, does not indicate a substantial quantity. 24 studies addressed the obstacles to sports privatization in Iran. One of the conclusions drawn from this research is the identification of suitable areas for future privatization studies in sports in Iran.

Very little research has been conducted on the content analysis of studies related to the elderly. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the research landscape and offer structured insights into this area. The research focuses on the content analysis of Iranian journals of physical education in the context of elderly individuals. This quantitative, applied research is based on content analysis and adopts a descriptive approach. The statistical population includes geriatric research published in Iranian physical education journals from 1993 to 2021. The research tool is a researcher-developed checklist, validated by ten professors, with a reliability coefficient of 0.97 using the Holsti formula. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS software. The findings revealed 213 relevant studies, with the majority published in the Motor Behavior journal. The most prevalent topic, constituting 30% of the articles, pertains to sports physiology, while biomechanics and management topics are less frequently addressed. Nearly all articles (99%) have a practical purpose and predominantly feature quantitative data. The quasi-experimental method is the most commonly used (76.05%), with training protocols being utilized in 81.22% of cases. Non-random sampling is the most frequently employed method, accounting for 53.52% of cases. Geographically, Tehran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, and Isfahan provinces have the highest publication shares. SPSS software (73.23%), one-factor analysis of variance, and Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical methods are the most prevalent analytical tools used by researchers. The research conducted in Iranian physical education journals regarding the elderly does not comprehensively cover the literature in this domain. Consequently, to advance knowledge in this area, it is crucial to conduct diverse research across all regions, as well as to employ descriptive and qualitative methods more extensively. It is anticipated that over time, publications will increasingly address the challenges and opportunities faced by the elderly, adopting a more forward-looking approach in this field.

One of the most important elements and priorities in high level sport is having an integrated and organized system for talent identification and development. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review of the studies on sport talent from 2001 to 2006. The research adopted a descriptive strategy, conducted a content analysis and carried out documentary research for data collection. The statistical population of the research (N=29) comes from the pertinent thesis and article published in the field of sport talent from 2001 to 2017. The study sample consisted of all the statistical population through complete enumeration. The instrument used in the study consisted of a coded sheet with a 90% measured inter-coder reliability coefficient according to the Scott Pi’s statistics. Descriptive and inferential statistics (Scott), SPSS and Excel software were used to analyze the data at the significance level of P≥0.005. Based on the obtained results, there seems to be no balance in the scientific coverage of sport talent identification between different sport disciplines, components, methodologies and tools; with some having attracted more attention and some which have been neglected. Therefore, attention to this issue from faculty members and academics could have an important impact, as they can play a role in guiding researchers toward the components and sports as well as the research methods that have received less attention in the literature.
