Abstract Mass media have an enormous role in shaping and directing society’s attitudes, beliefs, thoughts and constructing a proper position for sport arena. Purpose of this research was an analytical study of sport section of Khuzestan press with women’s sport approach. The statistical society of current research was the sports sections of 6 main newspapers published during 2013 in Khuzestan. Method of sampling was normal random and it was based on statistic weekly in which two statistic weeks were chosen of every newspaper. The measuring instrument was coding sheetand its reliability was approved by 15 professionals of sports and communication management. Also the objectivityand the stability coefficient were measured according to Scott formula for (gender 94%, sport field 96%, writing style 82%, status of interviewees 94%, the coverage and form of the text 98%, pictures size 87%, orientation 83%). Results showed that 81% of Khuzestan press sport section was covering men sports and only 5.6% of this coverage was about women sport. Including 30 sport fields formen and 20 sport fields for women. From 369 pictures, 81.4% were related to men and only 5.4% was related to women. Among 20 pictures related to women 90% of them were in small size and only 10% of them were in large size. Also considering the standpoints of contents, 42.6% of them had positive standpoints, 18% were negative and 39.3 was neutral. Considering the results of current research and tremendous differences between women and men’s sport press coverage, it is recommended that by showing special consideration toward covering women’s sport and attracting them toward exciting sports areas, press can help women’s sport to develop and finally improve the society’s health and wellbeing.

Abstract Publication of the shocking nature of space and culture is the maker of the most powerful levers of intellectual and cultural evolution. Widespread dissemination of the mass in the invention of the printing begins. Audience research in order to achieve satisfaction of the sports books has been published. The study sample the entire audience stands referred to the publishers, sports, the Twenty-Sixth Tehran International Exhibition of 1391 were present in the sample were selected randomly and the sample size of 280 was selected.In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics and Tand one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used for all analyzes were performed using software spss16. The results indicate that the title variable was significant in terms of satisfaction and according to post hoc tests amongstudents, professoriate and staff with the unemployed was significant differenceand amongthe variable mass of book and variable facility was significant difference and according to post hoc tests amongstudents and staff was significant difference and amongvariables (grace, quality content, imaginary content, page layout and scale content to fit the needs) no significant difference was observed.

Abstract This study investigates the role of television in creating commitment in football television audience towards sport sponsorship. In this research, five important factors brand’s name awareness, positive image of Sponsor, interest in sponsors, purchase intent and loyalty to thecompany or sponsor’s organization, products or services were examined. For this pourpose a questionnaire designed and itsvalidity confirmed by specialists and reliability was calculated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient equal to0.80. The statistical population included all television audiences of popular football teams in the master league and 380 subjects were selected from the audience.Data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential methods such as Binominal Testto survey the effect of sport sponsorship on five mentioned factors among fans. Research results showed, Sport Sponsorship enhance brand’s name awareness, promote a positive image of sponsor, the sponsor’s interestand loyalty of audience to the company, but it doesn't effecton purchase intent of audience. Sponsors should consider that make a commitment in audience is a time consuming process and needs ongoing support that can lead to return of capital ultimately.

Abstract Purpose of this study was citation analysis of journal articles in movement sciences and sport from 2000 to 2008. Due to the low population size the number of samples was considered equal to the number of population (N=167). The instrument used in this study was a coding sheet that its validity has been approved by 6 people of sports management faculties and expert in the field of content analysis. Regard to the quantitative data and non-interference of personal opinions, the agreement coefficient between coderwas skipped. For data analysis descriptive statistical (frequency and present in the form of tables and graphs) and SPSSwere used. Results showed that in total 4879 sources (excluding repeaters sources) has been used in this 167 articlesandthe average number of citations for each article is 29.1 sources. Also, ℅29.86 of the sources is related to less than 5 years before receiving the article from journal, ℅30.08 of the sources is related to 5-10 years and 40.12 of the sources is related to more than 10 years. Moreover, number of Latin references (3847 case) is much higher than the number of Persian sources (1032 case) in the articles of this journal.Among the variety of resources which were used, books (℅52.09) and articles (℅37.15) had the highest number of citations. In 2001 and 2007 the lowest (172 sources) and largest (821 sources) numbers of sources have been used respectively. Also in all years, the percent of Latin sources was more than Persian sources. Finally, regard to increasing sources of articles, it seems that researchers have more access to scientific sources and we are seeing an increasing number of sources, especially the Persian sources.

Abstract The aim of this study was to examine the role of mass media in the development of sport, so the Two-dimensional questionnairesin 5-axis of sports development was prepared. After determining the validity and reliability of the questionnaires, they distributed and then collected among 340 samples as experts in the field of sport and media. The sample consisted of media managers, media experts, sport managers and sports experts.The research was descriptive and causal comparativeandthe data were collected through survey.There was a meaningful difference between the desired situation and the current situationamong the participants perspectiveon the effects of media in the development of sport in all the 5-axis in the development of sport (≥ α 0/05). Media with respect to these5-axisand effective measures of media have an indispensable role in their development. According to the nature of the media, mass media improve the variables of sport development and finally there will be Sport development.

Abstract Athletic directors with the help of information technology, computers and related software can do tasks and projects anything more effective than before.Sothe acquisition of IT skills is essential for athletic directors and can help to advance the organizational goals. Therefore, in order to assess the knowledge and use of information technology in university intramural department, 50 managers selected as sample, and responded to the researcher made questionnaire with the appropriatevalidity and reliability (Inconsistency rate of less than 0.1). For statistical analysis, descriptive statistical analysis and Analytical Hierarchy Process AHP and Expert choice software were used. Based on results, Word processing software based on AHP weighted (0.522) has priority Understanding and using the rate of graphics applications with final weight (0.041) were significantly less important than other indicators of IT. Overall, one can say due to the large athletic extracurricular duties, the directors are required to understand the diversity and complexity of activities and make greater use of information technology to organizational processes with speed and accuracy are more and less expensive to do.

Abstract The aim of this study was to analyze the sport management article in scientifics magazine like: Harekat, Pazhoheshdarolumvarzeshi, Olumharekativavarzeshi and olampic during 8 years.There are 802 articles in all branches of physical education and sport science. In this research 188 articles of sport management were analyzed.This research is based on two criteria, one is subject contributed articles on different fields of physical education and sport science, another one isevaluation approach communication in sport management articles. In this study content analysis were used as a research method. Content analysis was performed with preparation of codifying instruction, and operational definitions from the categories with two units of program, magazine and articles of sport management. Two descriptive and inferential (Qi-square) statistics have been used for analyzing data. This research has two indexes to study that include management articles in various branch of physical education and communication branch of sport management. This research uses a coding list that validity of it has been measured by some professors of university. In this study to prevent of personal opinions used three persons for coding the list. The agreement coefficient has been upper than 90% for coder of this research. The result of this research show that physiology branch with 39.77% have had maximum of articles. The communication branch had unequal coverage in sport management articles. The result shows that significant difference between the numbers of articles on sport management. There is no article on communication branch in Olumharekativavarzeshi magazine. So it is necessary that sport management scholars to improve the current state of research literature in the field and to eliminate the leakage.
