Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the role of mass media in the development of sport, so the Two-dimensional questionnairesin 5-axis of sports development was prepared. After determining the validity and reliability of the questionnaires, they distributed and then collected among 340 samples as experts in the field of sport and media. The sample consisted of media managers, media experts, sport managers and sports experts.The research was descriptive and causal comparativeandthe data were collected through survey.There was a meaningful difference between the desired situation and the current situationamong the participants perspectiveon the effects of media in the development of sport in all the 5-axis in the development of sport (≥ α 0/05). Media with respect to these5-axisand effective measures of media have an indispensable role in their development. According to the nature of the media, mass media improve the variables of sport development and finally there will be Sport development.
