The aim of this study is the role of information and communication technology in the development of sports startups. Current study In terms of purpose is Practical, and In terms of data collection method. It was descriptive-survey. In the first part (qualitative) to conduct the field interview, the statistical population of the research, prominent professors in the field of sports management specializing in entrepreneurship and information and communication technology, prominent sports startups as well as sports entrepreneurs are formed. Interviews were selected (14 interviews with 13 individuals and continued until theoretical saturation). In the second part (quantitative), after collecting information from qualitative research, the questionnaire was constructed and this questionnaire (28 items, in the form of three components of formation, validation and growth) among sports startups (staffing) and their managers) were distributed (sample: 86 people). Use elongation and skew indices to check the distribution of data (normal or abnormal) and to examine and answer the research questions and draw and compile a measurement model and a structural model of SPSS software were used. The results showed that information and communication technology is effective in the development of sports startups in the formation, validation and growth stages. Which has the greatest impact on growth.

The aim of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the entrepreneurial development of sports organizations using media capacities. The present study was one of the mixed (qualitative-quantitative) exploratory studies that was conducted in the field. The statistical population in the qualitative section included experts aware of the research topic. Also, the statistical population of the study in a small part included all sports entrepreneurs in Hamadan province. Data collection tools in the present study included a semi-structured interview and a researcher-made questionnaire. The face validity of this questionnaire was examined using the opinions of several experts. Also, the construct validity of this questionnaire was examined using factor analysis. Finally, the reliability of this questionnaire was performed using Cronbach's alpha calculation method (α = 0.85). The data analysis method of the present study was coding in the qualitative section and using the method of structural equations in the quantitative section. The whole process of data analysis was performed in SPSS and PLS software. The results of the qualitative section showed that a total of 24 sub-items were classified into 4 categories of educational, content, human and managerial factors. Paying attention to these factors can lead to the development of entrepreneurship in sports organizations.

This research has been conducted to develop a model for the development of start-up sports businesses, emphasizing the role of cyberspace. This research had a qualitative approach & the grounded method of Strauss & Corbin theory was used. The method of data collection was in-depth interviews with 11 professors & owners of sports startups, after reaching the theoretical saturation limit. The validity of the instrument in this study was reviewed & confirmed by interviewees & then expert professors; Also, to calculate the reliability of the interviews, the intra-subject agreement method was used, which was obtained 74%, which shows the high reliability of the coding. To analyze the data, the coding method was used in three stages: open, axial, & selective coding; The number of open codes was 216 & the central codes were 34. The results were categorized into 5 main dimensions: causal conditions, pivotal conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, strategies, & consequences. The output of the model for business development through cyberspace can be a good way for sports start-up business owners.

The research is correlation- experimental and in terms of objective, it is pragmatic. The population under study encompassed all manufacturers of sport accessories in Iran (N=300) out of which 169 cases are selected based on having the least amount of population, using Morgan table. Khosrovani’s standard questionnaire (2012) was employed based on that of Histrich and Peter, accompanied with confirmed reliability and stability for data collection, with its formal validity being confirmed by university scholars as well as professional entrepreneurs. Finally, using the numerical sigma, the formal validity is counted to be 0.85 and then the structure validity was calculated by confirmatory factor analysis. The devise stability calculated and confirmed by Cronbach’s alpha in creation of sports business concept, feasibility of sports business, startup of new sports businesses to be α= 0.71, α= 0.82, α=0.82 and α =0.89, respectively. Factor analysis results were confirmatory. The fitting model of the study has shown that based on (t) score all the questions posed within the study had meaningful relationship with their factors. The questionnaire of the role of information and communication technology in developing entrepreneurial opportunities in sports was of high validity. Hence, it can be used as an appropriate tool for researches related to the sports entrepreneurship domain.
