The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of exercise in cyberspace on participation motivation and body image of female high school students in Tehran. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and quasi-experimental in terms of data collection method. Also, the method of the present study was field data from the perspective of data collection. Cluster random sampling method was selected and in the next step by distributing a questionnaire, 60 people who received the lowest score from the body image questionnaire were randomly selected and randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group participated in a training program in cyberspace for 12 weeks (two sessions per week and each session for 1 hour). The research instruments included the Body Image Questionnaire of Cash et al (1987) and the questionnaire of motivation to participate in sports Hong (2010). Mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data in descriptive statistics and In the inferential statistics section, statistical tests of covariance and version 22 of SPSS software were used. The results showed that exercise in cyberspace has a significant effect on participation motivation and body image of female high school students in Tehran (P ≥ 0.05). Accordingly, it is suggested that students be encouraged by parents and respected teachers to participate in cyberspace sports programs.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between media consumption and communication skills of sports science students. The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational and in terms of practical purpose, it is in the field. The statistical population studied in this study consisted of all students of sports sciences of Islamic Azad University in the academic year 2018-2019 (6230 people) who used Cohen, Morgan and Georgian sample size determination table and relying on random-cluster sampling method. Data collection tools included Ghasemi Communication Skills Questionnaire (2017) and Media Consumption of Mahmoudian et al (2015) that their content validity was evaluated by 8 expert professors in the field of sports management; Their reliability with Cronbach's alpha was 0.77 and 0.74, respectively. In order to analyze the data, frequency and percentage indicators were used, and in the inferential statistics section, the Kolmorov-Smirnov test and the structural equation modeling test were used by SPSS and PLS statistical software. The results of statistical analysis showed that media consumption has a positive, direct and significant relationship with communication skills of sports students. On the one hand, the development of media infrastructure in universities as much as possible, and on the other hand, teaching how to use all kinds of media as a tool and strengthening the communication skills of people active in the field of sports should be given the attention of officials and practitioners in the field of higher education. This research was a descriptive survey. To gather data, a questionnaire (Sadeghian et al (2014)) with reliability of 0/84 was used. After distributing, 333 questionnaires were evaluated and analyzed by the researcher. For Data analysis, statistical methods (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and one-sample T-test) by using the spss software at significance level of α =0/05 was utilized. The results showed that the role of the media in informing students about sport for all of the benefits of good physical and mental benefits was poor. The information about the media in the appropriate locations and media education programs about sport was desirable.
