Abstract

The aim of the current research is to develop the capacities of polo sports tourism with an emphasis on the media using future studies. The type of research is applied and analytical-exploratory in nature. The statistical population includes experts in the fields of lacrosse, physical education and media who had conducted research in this field (38 people). Targeted sampling method was used to identify these people. This sampling continued until theoretical saturation was reached and finally 20 people were selected as a sample. Then, 14 people from the statistical population of the previous section declared their readiness to perform cross effects analysis. To analyze the data, the combined methods of the expert panel and cross-sectional effects were used. Introduction of lacrosse and items needed to start the sport in the media, production and broadcast of programs about lacrosse introduction in English to show to foreign tourists, presentation of lacrosse sports documentaries to foreign networks with a focus on education and its introduction, coverage Media coverage of traditional festivals in which polo is also played and encouraging investors for sports tourism by producing incentive programs in the media are among the most important drivers for the development of polo sports tourism capacities with emphasis on is the media; Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of polo sports tourism capacities with an emphasis on the media should be on the agenda of the country's sports tourism managers
