The purpose of this research was to investigate the concept of media power and to obtain operational strategies to adopt new ways of using media in sports development. This is a qualitative research that was conducted using Grounded Theory and Strauss and Corbin's approach. The statistical population of the research included 14 experts in the field of sports and media management and experienced specialists in the field of sports media, and to collect data, targeted sampling was used with semi-structured interview method and reaching theoretical saturation. Data analysis was carried out through three stages of open coding, central coding, and selective coding, with an emphasis on media power sources as the central phenomenon and subcategories, causal, contextual, intervening conditions, consequences, and strategies. In order to ensure the validity and reliability of the research, the interviews with some people were repeated several times and the results in several stages were seen by several experienced professors and interviewees, and in the meantime, the focus groups of the participants in the research were also used. Based on the results obtained from the research, media acquisition, audience persuasion,, media specialization and legal support were identified as causal conditions and the ability to flow, demand, generate income, build trust, authority, legitimacy, transparency and the type of media ownership as underlying factors and the intervening factors to Two categories of facilitators and obstacles of media power in sports development were identified.

The purpose of this study was to develop an interpretive structural model for the development of student sports through the media. The method of the present study was grounded theory with Charms approach or structural-interpretive approach. Indicators of student sports development were identified through the media and a model was designed with an interpretive structural model. The statistical population of this study included all university sports experts, sports management professors and sports media specialists. Sampling was done by relative random method and the sample size was 398 according to Morgan table. The Mick Mac matrix was used to collect data. Data were analyzed by MicMac software. The results showed that the development of financial resources for student sports, the development of human resources for student sports and the development of scientific resources for student sports are most affected by sports media. Also, the results of Mick Mac matrix showed that the indicators of legal environment development, cultural environment development and scientific environment development in the area of influence, human resources development and financial resources development in the transplant area and development of sports facilities and infrastructure in the region are dependent. Sustainable development of student sports will not be possible without considering the media and its related potentials, and university sports managers should pay more attention to this.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the interaction between championship sports and social unity, emphasizing the role of sports media. This research was applied, qualitative, field-library and thematic analysis. The participants of research were professors and experts in sports management, media and sociology, and managers and activists in the field of sports media, 23 of whom were selected by a targeted and snowball method and considering theoretical saturation. The data collection tool was a semi-structured in-depth interview, and in order to analyze the data, thematic analysis method was used with Attride-Stirling (2001) approach. The results showed that with emphasis on the role of sports media, the effective components of championship sports on social unity include being a role model (power of influence, honoring the value and condemning the worthless and dependent), creating empathy (strengthening the national spirit, strengthening social cohesion, increasing national unity and strengthening national pride), inclusiveness (being visible and having a large audience), multidimensionality (physical dimension and spiritual-psychological dimension) and social factors (increasing vitality and reducing abnormality) and the effective components of social unity on championship sports including support (increasing support of fans, creating and supporting policies), acceptability (social acceptability and financial acceptability), contagiousness (contagion of unity from society to sports and a sense of responsibility) and management (how to hold competitions, sports equipment and facilities) championship and performance). Therefore, it is possible to achieve success in both aspects of championship sports and social unity by paying attention to the effective components in this interaction.

A qualitative research method was chosen with a systematic exploratory approach. The statistical population of the research included two parts of human resources . Sufficient number of interviewees and information sources were selected purposefully and based on reaching theoretical saturation. The research tool included semi-structured exploratory interviews along with a systematic library study. The validity of the tool was evaluated and confirmed based on the practical merit, legal and scientific validity of the sample, expert opinion and agreement between the correctors. In order to analyze the findings, a multi-stage conceptual coding method (open, selective and thematic) with thematic analysis approach was used. The final conceptual framework included 118 components, 37 dimensions, 14 perspectives and 6 general themes. General themes and perspectives in a chain and interrelationship including organizational networking capacities in the development of sports tourism, organizational ecosystem challenges in the development of sports tourism, inter-organizational networking strategies in sports tourism, alignment of organizational networking levels. in sports tourism, the processes of inter-organizational networking in sports tourism and the functions of the organizational network in the development of sports tourism. The aim of the present research was to identify and validate the effective strategies for the development of e-sports clubs in Iran. The research method used a mixed qualitative-quantitative approach for data collection. The qualitative population consisted of experts, informed individuals, and authorities familiar with strategic sports management, as well as managers and officials of e-sports associations such as the development and progress committee and the e-sports association. The sampling method was non-probabilistic, with purposive selection and maximum diversity. The sample size for this research was determined to be 16 based on theoretical saturation. Additionally, in the quantitative section, the participants were managers and officials of e-sports clubs and e-sports athletes, totaling 360 individuals. The research tools included semi-structured interviews and a researcher-made questionnaire designed based on the extracted codes in the qualitative section. The qualitative data analysis was conducted using Maxqda software, while the quantitative analysis was performed using the AMOS structural equation modeling software. The results identified and validated 6 concepts and 44 codes related to the effective strategies for the development of e-sports clubs in Iran. Finally, the model results were confirmed in terms of validation. The results indicated that educational and research strategies, the development of official competitions, creating a platform for attracting financial support, differentiation, and interaction with the media formed the strategies for the development of e-sports clubs.
