چکیده [English]

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of the media on the representation of equality, diversity, and inclusiveness in sports. Therefore, an applied research study with a qualitative approach, based on the Foundation's data method, aligns with the systematic approach of Strauss and Corbin. The method of data collection includes a study of theoretical foundations and in-depth structured interviews with 10 sports management professors, managers, and experts in media management. The sampling method was conducted in a targeted manner until theoretical saturation was achieved. The validity of this research was assessed and confirmed by the interviewees and subsequently by expert professors. Additionally, in the current research, the within-subject agreement method was employed to calculate the reliability of the conducted interviews. For data analysis, the continuous comparison method was utilized during three stages of open, central, and selective coding with MAXQDA 2020 software. From the data analysis, 51 open codes and 16 core codes were extracted across 5 categories. The results indicate the significant role of the media in shaping social perceptions of equality, diversity, and inclusion in sports, which can have important consequences for promoting awareness of diversity and equality, as well as for fostering support for and promotion of sports without gender, racial, and interdisciplinary limitations.
