Documents indexed in Web of Science comprises the population of the current study.<strong> </strong>Findings revealed that during 2000-2016, a total of 615 articles were in the field of sport science in Web of Science. On the other hand, results indicated that Rahnama N is the most productive scientist, Sadeghi H is the most cited researcher, and Sadeghi H owns the highest h-index. Iranian authors of sport sciences have many collaborative articles with their counterparts in USA, Canada, and England, respectively. Moreover, “Exercise”, “Training”, and “Muscle” are the most frequent words in Iranian sport sciences researches.<strong> </strong>Generally, scientific productions in the field of sport sciences show a significant increase from 2000 onwards. The content analysis of Iranian sports sciences researchers revealed that the majority of articles are about the impact of exercise on body systems, rehabilitation issues, and movement analysis. این پژوهش بر آن است تا با استفاده از فنون علم‌سنجی، جایگاه مطالعات علوم ورزشی ایران از سال 2000 تا 2016 را مورد تحلیل و بررسی قرار دهد.<strong> </strong>این تحقیق از نوع مطالعات علم‌سنجی است. جامعه پژوهش را تولیدات علمی ایران در حوزه­ ی علوم ورزشی در پایگاه اطلاعاتی آی.اس.آی تشکیل می‌دهد. نتایج بررسی نشان داد که تولید علمی علوم ­ورزشی ایران در پایگاه اطلاعاتی آی.اس.آی در فاصله زمانی 2016-2000 تعداد 615 مدرک است. در بازه زمانی مذکور، Rahnama N پر تولیدترین پژوهشگر، Sadeghi H پر استنادترین پژوهشگر و Sadeghi H دارای بیشترین شاخص اچ بوده‌اند. پژوهشگران تربیت‌بدنی ایران بیشترین همکاری را با همتایان خود در کشورهای ایالات‌متحده، کانادا و انگلستان داشته‌اند. همچنین واژه‌های Exercise، Training و Muscle به‌عنوان پربسامدترین واژگان در پژوهش‌های علوم ورزشی ایران بوده‌اند. به‌طورکلی، تولیدات­ علمی پژوهشگران علوم­ ورزشی ایران از سال 2000 تاکنون روندی رو به رشد داشته است. همچنین تحلیل محتوای پژوهش‌های علوم ورزشی نشان داد که غالب مقالات در خصوص تأثیر تمرین بر سیستم­ های مختلف بدن، مباحث توان‌بخشی و همچنین تجزیه‌وتحلیل حرکتی است. https://sportmedia.journals.pnu.ac.ir/article_4797_16a66cc94267e2c374f34f93b34cc3b7.pdf
